This policy explains how Young Planet Enterprises Limited (“YoungPlanet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), uses cookies on the website located at youngplanet.com and its subdomains (collectively, the “Website”) and similar technologies in the mobile application(s) that YoungPlanet offers that links to or references the Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy (each, an “Application”). Any capitalized terms not defined herein will have the meaning prescribed to them in the Terms of Use Agreement and Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Mobile applications can use similar technologies, including local storage, device identifiers, SDKs, and tracked links.
The Website
The Website stores your cookie-banner choice in local storage so that it does not ask you on every visit. This is used only to remember whether you accepted or declined. This is essential and is set regardless of your choice.
If you accept cookies, the website loads Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These analytics cookies (for example _ga and _ga_*) are only set after you accept, and are not loaded if you decline or ignore the banner. You can also opt out of Google Analytics directly using Google's browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Google processes this data as described in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. We do not load advertising trackers on the website.
The Application
Analytics
When you first open an Application, we will ask whether you consent to collecting and using data for analytics. If you accept, we use Amplitude, Google Analytics, Google Firebase Analytics, and Google Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the app is used and to help us diagnose and fix problems. These services do not run and do not collect information about you unless and until you accept. You can change your choice at any time in ‘Your Preferences’ in the App's ‘Settings’.
Affiliate links
Some links in the Application may include a tracked affiliate link. When you subscribe to the Discount Offering, we will ask whether you consent to affiliate link tracking. If you consent, and later make a qualifying purchase, the affiliate network can report that purchase so YoungPlanet may receive a commission. This does not add to the price you pay. We remember your choice for future redemptions, so you will not be asked again each time. You can change your choice at any time in ‘Your Preferences’ in the App's ‘Settings’.
Facebook Login
The App allows you to log in using Facebook. This authenticates you using your Facebook app ID, requested permissions, SDK version, and the resulting access token. We do not use the Facebook SDK's automatic event logging or advertising identifier collection features, so logging in with Facebook does not share your device identifiers with Meta and is not used for Meta's advertising measurement.
Push notifications
We use OneSignal to deliver push notifications you have chosen to enable in your device settings. This is necessary to deliver the notifications you have asked to receive.
Other third-party links
The retailer, app store, or other service you open from YoungPlanet may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control.
Managing your choices
You can reset the website choice by clearing site data for youngplanet.com in your browser. In the App, open ‘Your Preferences’ within ‘Settings’ to review or change your Analytics and Affiliate Link Tracking choices. Device and browser settings may provide additional controls.
